AI Hooks
A short video has about two seconds to earn the next ten. Splicora reads your transcript, finds the line worth opening with, writes a 12–25 word hook around it, voices it with a built-in AI voice or your ElevenLabs voice, and cuts it with impact words, a sound effect and a camera move — ready to drop onto the front of any clip.

What you get
The AI pulls the strongest claims, numbers and moments out of the transcript and builds the hook on one of them — never a generic "you won't believe this".
Generate the hook as audio immediately, no API key needed. Connect ElevenLabs in Settings if you want a premium or cloned voice.
Impact words pop on screen, a sound effect lands on the beat and a camera move gives the opener motion — five visual styles, six sound effects, six moves.
The finished hook drops onto the front of a clip in the editor, or downloads as its own file.
How it works
Splicora reads the transcript so the hook is built on what the video actually says.
The AI lists the strongest moments with a note on why each works. Choose one, or let it pick.
One of six built-in voices or your ElevenLabs voice; a visual style, a sound effect and a camera move.
The 3–5 second opener sits in front of the clip in the editor. Export or schedule.
A hook is the opening line that makes a viewer decide to stay. It is not a summary, and it is not "hey guys, in today's video". Good hooks open a loop: a question the clip will answer, a claim the clip will back up, a number that seems wrong until you hear the explanation. The rest of the clip pays it off.
Writing a good hook for every clip is hard because it needs to be specific. "You will not believe this" is a hook for nothing. "Most podcasters cut their best clip in the wrong place" is a hook for one clip. The AI hook generator writes the second kind, because it reads the clip before it writes.
Every part is editable. Most people generate two or three, keep the line they like and tighten it. The brand voice profile keeps the wording in your tone.
A hook that is spoken as well as shown does two things: it works with the sound on, and it lets you add an opener the original recording did not have. Splicora includes six built-in AI voices at no extra cost, so a voiced hook is one click. If you already use ElevenLabs — including a clone of your own voice — connect it in Settings and every hook is generated with that voice instead.
The audio enhancer levels the hook against the clip's own audio so the join is clean.
Every clip from the AI clip generator can have a hook added before export, and the video editor places the hook on the timeline for you. Pair the hook with animated captions and the first seconds are covered whether the viewer's sound is on or off.

Yes. The line, the impact words, the voice, the sound and the visual style are all editable before you render.
Three to five seconds — a 12 to 25 word line spoken at a natural pace, cut with a sound effect and a camera move, designed to sit in front of a clip.
