Splicora's editor is built for the clip: fast to open, a timeline that does the handful of things short-form actually needs, and the AI tools that make a clip perform — captions, hooks, B-roll — a click away instead of a plugin away.

It runs entirely in the browser. Nothing to install, nothing to update, and the same project on a laptop and a desktop.

What the timeline does

• Trim and split with a frame-accurate playhead, so a clip starts on the word and not the breath before it.
• Multi-track audio with real waveforms — see where the voice is loud and duck the music under it.
• Colour — brightness, contrast and saturation sliders (0–200, 100 is neutral) with a live preview.
• Speed — slow a moment down or speed a passage up.
• Text — titles, lower thirds and the hook line, styled to your brand kit.
• Export at 720p, 1080p or 4K; portrait stays portrait, landscape stays landscape.

The AI tools, from inside the edit

Every tool on the site works on the clip in the editor without a round trip: the subtitle generator adds animated captions to the timeline, the hook generator places text and audio over the first two seconds, the B-roll generator suggests cutaways for each line, the audio enhancer cleans the voice, and the resizer reframes for another platform. Renders are saved to your library and backed up, so an export is never lost to a closed tab.

When you need it and when you do not

Most clips from the AI clip generator go out untouched. The editor is for the ones that need a hand: a clip that should start two seconds later, a punchline that wants a beat of music, a passage that needs B-roll to hold attention. Open it, fix the thing, export. That is the whole job.

The editor is built for the tenth clip of the day as much as the first. Split at the playhead, nudge a cut by a frame, mute a track, jump to the next caption — the common operations sit on the keyboard, and the timeline zooms to the clip rather than to the hour. Renders run in the background and land in your library with a backup in cloud storage, so a closed tab never costs you an export.

Exports keep the source resolution up to 4K and the source aspect ratio, and encode to the MP4 profile every platform accepts, so a file from the editor never needs converting before it is uploaded.
