What an AI clip generator actually does

A long video is full of short videos. • Completeness — a clip that ends mid-thought gets marked down, even if the middle is great.
• Density — how much is said per second. Rambling passages sink; tight ones rise.
• Emotion and emphasis — laughter, a raised voice, a pause before the punchline.
• Length fit — the clip is trimmed to the range each platform rewards, rather than padded to fill it.

You can override any of it. Drag the start and end, swap the caption preset, or throw a clip away. The score is a recommendation, not a rule.

TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts share a format — vertical, sound-on, captioned — and Splicora produces that format by default. AI Reframe keeps the speaker centred when a 16:9 recording is cropped to 9:16, animated captions are burned in with word-level timing, and a hook line can be added over the first two seconds.
